Akilah White

Akilah is a DONA certified Birth and Postpartum doula, Lamaze trained childbirth educator, and Midwife Assistant serving families in the Hampton Roads area. (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmonth, Suffolk, Hampton, and Newport News)

Her heart is to serve birthing women and their families through emotional, physical and informational support before, during, and after childbirth. Whether in the hospital, birth center, or home she aims to support parents in building evidence-based decisions and empowering them throughout their journey.

Akilah is a mother of two young adults and a wife to one devoted husband. Hobbies and interest include: traveling, shopping, collecting house plants, game night and spending time with family and friends.
